Association of enlarged perivascular spaces with A? and tau deposition in cognitively normal older population

The relationship between magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-visible enlarged perivascular spaces (EPVS) and A? tau deposition is poorly investigated in cognitively normal older population. In our study, a total of 106 subjects from the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative database were included. All underwent brain MRI, florbetapir positron emission tomography (PET), flortaucipir PET examinations. EPVS rated on MRI using 5-point scale basal ganglia (BG-EPVS) centrum semiovale (CSO-EPVS).
